Welcome to Team Hank.  Here we will do our utmost to keep you up to date on the happenings of Henry’s new and exciting life.  We thought it would be nice for our family and friends who are unable to see the lad in person as often as they might like to be able to stay in the know to a virtual extent.

As most of you know, Henry’s mother is mostly anti-technology.  She likes things the way they used to be.  “Who needs facebook when one can send a letter?” she might ask.  Henry’s father can respect this principle and believes that letters should still be sent from time to time.  However Henry’s father is daily becoming a greater fan of technology.  He might say, “I don’t need to spend time penning and sending a letter when I can just blast it onto the internets with the click of switch!”  That said, many Henry related things will be “blasted onto the internets” via this page.  So to those of you in San Diego, New York City, Colorado, Portland, Big Bear, Idaho, Tahoe and Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, check in from time to time for the latest.

For now the latest is this, Amber and I went to the doctor today suspecting that her water may have broken.  We didn’t really think that this was the case but we wanted to play it safe.  The doc said, “Negative.  Standard pregnancy stuff.”  She is a sweetheart of a doctor and seems to want this baby out as much as we do at the moment but alas, we continue to wait.  From there we went to the Glendale Galleria to tidy up some Christmas shopping and get in some good walking.  This was followed by a trip up to Tujunga Village for the Miracle Maternity Salad at Caioti’s.  This salad is legendary for kicking expecting mothers into labor.  They say it’s in the dressing and they’ve got guest books full of testimonials to back it up.  Pretty gimmicky but we gave it a go.  This was six hours ago and no action yet but the food was worth the trip.  The pizza goes on my top five best in LA list NO DOUBT.

So here we are.  Amber sleeps.  Henry rolls around inside the womb.  I blog.

Send up those prayers.  We’ll keep you up to date.
